My hypothesis is that if someone stays uninjured that they don't lose any memories. If you insist on accompanying me and ignoring my advice then you should try to avoid injury and become the test subject and I will keep you safe. I am a doctor, it would be irresponsible of me to let anyone become injured on my behalf.
