So we're leaving the desert soon. Anyone want to bet on where we go next? What do you want to see? Personally, if I had my druthers: oak savanna. Get a lot more plants and trees around but they're not in dense stands. Good grazing country while still having shade and windbreaks. Maybe even real horses. These scaly ones are well enough but they're just not very expressive.

[sometimes she draws that two reverse crescents symbol to 'sign' her contributions to the network, sometimes not. It looks like the crescent quillions of her sword, not that anyone here would know.]

[He has a moment to wish he had more proof that it's not the case, but...]

It seems to me that these places are remnants of ones that were once occupied - I suppose there are cities that became flooded, when they were abandoned, but if they are truly unlivable climes, then it seems unlikely that we would stop there.

But if we do, my apologies Othalo that you will need to suffer so.

I speculated with Mer Dankovsky that they, too, are dead places.

Forged, even?

[Look he's trying, okay.]

That these, two, are dead cities, abandoned to the echoes of time. It seems appropriate, for lost spirits too to find their homes among them, for a time.

I would not dare, Othalo.

Or they too are taken out of time and place. Some things must be, if we find remembrances of our own homes amongst them.
