That's an interesting question. We don't need to breathe here but it still feels natural so it takes a conscious effort to stop. I wonder if stamina is the same?

Although our bodies feel more real during crossings, so I would caution against putting our findings into practice when we're at our most vulnerable.

[The wishy-washy passing of time (and the apparent twilight that the marsh seemed stuck in) certainly made making solid plans difficult! But hey, at least they didn’t need sleep or food, so waiting for the others to show up wasn’t as inconvenient as it could have been!]

[The skeleton’s voice keeping pace was probably more preferred to, say, the living radios that had roamed the Junkyard, blasting out their depressive tunes. Even without it being stuck on 11, it was too much sometimes.

And Sunny couldn’t just Stab the radio to make it stop here, even if they had one.]

Breaks… are allowed…?

[That caught his attention. Sunny was used to when he had been in school (even though it had been a few years since he had gone, the memory was still stark in his mind), and the gym teacher wouldn’t allow breaks even if they looked like they would drop. It was meant to build endurance… or something.

Sunny hated it.

But the thought of being able to take a break anytime he wanted has him pausing, considering it. He was sure Mari would be happy if he showed up, and Frieda too, even if he didn’t actually participate.

For some reason, that was important to him.]
