Post Crossing Meeting
WHO: Kel and anyone who wants to discuss The Crossing
WHAT: Second 'Town Meeting'
WHERE: Oasis
WHEN: A bit after the crossing, when everyone has time to calm down and breathe.
WARNINGS Talks of death, definitely, mention of blood and wounds, other CWs to be added.
[Kel has seen people scatter around and, despite still acting like a foolish fool around Mari and Sunny... he is doing his best to try to coordinate things as he can. Armed with a set bright of pink pencils, definitely merchandise of the Sweetheart brand from his place, he prepared a whole wall in one of the shelters to work as a rough chalkboard and, written on it, there are his few observations from staying behind.
- Nothing beside the wraiths did show up. What are we running from?
- Ferryman honest or not?
- When you don't pay the tool, you may still lose memories
- Our bodies can get hurt as if we're still alive.
- Discussion About Crossing from both sides?
It's not much but try to get stuff to appear properly on a blank wall when all you have is a bunch of pencils that don't even write that well. He's trying, though, he really is. A message is sent out to everyone after he's done gathering enough pillows for everyone to sit in, inviting people to come and share experiences, and... that's all. He did, at least, prepare water for everyone to drink.... it's somethin, right?
"Why, thank you for coming! Take a seat, mingle and let's get down to businesses!"
OOC: This is a mingle thread. Feel free to interact with each other and have discussions about things. The 'chalkboard' will be updated if anything is brought up to Kel's attention, I'll leave an open post for that.

Re: The 'Wall'
Hey doc. Just one question... how do you know if you're missing a memory? [He's just whispering, there.] Like, I wouldn't know if I wasn't from the same place as Sunny and Mari, so they knew someone from.. before.
And about the wraiths... do you think that's what we risk to become, eventually? Because we are losing a bit of ourselves every step we take, from what I see.

First his reason for coming to that town, and then his reason that he found, as being forced to stay was too painful otherwise... he's forgotten both. Daniil wonders if other people have patterns to their memory loss or if that's just him, but, well, he's not going to burden a child with that!
"And that is a sound hypothesis, young man!" He says, beaming, "I certainly hope that's not the case, but perhaps we could become just that if we misstep in some way. The truth of the matter remains to be seen."

He just couldn't remember a thing about his brother, not even that he had one. He could just remember his parents being distant and preferring someone else over him, being the disappointment of his family and having to be strong after a certain person passed, but it was much harder to think who he tried his best for. And his mind didn't try to fill the blanks.
"Mh... So you suggest wraiths could be people who failed the journey instead? I do admit I don't want to become one of those... things."
no subject
He'd do the same himself, but he's too worried about someone snooping. Besides! He just wasn't going to forget anything from now on.
"I wouldn't worry too much, fella." Dankovsky says softly, "I'm certain we won't become monsters or anything. I won't let it happen." He's trying to sound as convincing as he can, reassuring, but the possibility of it happening is gnawing at him too.
no subject
"Well... it's a bit complicated but i guess we could try? Maybe we could have some group effort to preserve everyone's memories? I mean, we're all on the same boat here.."
And, beside a very few things, Kel doesn't have a lot to hide to begin with. they all involve the two siblings present so there's no chatting about them.
"Well, let's try to stay positive. Mh? I'm just... it is something in my mind."
no subject
"I suppose... it depends on how comfortable everyone is with such a thing." He says, genuinely NOT being comfortable with it, "I thought you and your friends would be comfortable with each other. My apologies if I assumed. But please, don't hesitate to share your thoughts. While keeping a positive attitude is a trait to be admired, we wouldn't want to hold things in needlessly, yes?"
no subject
"I guess? There are things people can be okay sharing, I think. And if we don't trust each other in this situation, who do we trust?" A pause, then, as he looks just a bit more tense "Well, I am comfortable with them. Mostly. BUt I also don't want to burden them, that's all. And- I guess? I am fine, really, what I'm holding in isn't really that bothersome. Just embarrassing. Like admitting you once put glue on your cereals instead of milk."
no subject
Except yes, absolutely on his watch.
"I suppose trust is paramount." He says, though the way he says it, he's not entirely convinced. Though trust isn't entirely the problem, it's more just a matter of being a private person. "We do all have to stick together, none of us are a burden on each other."
He might say differently about Nagito, perhaps, but Kel? Kel could never be a burden in Daniil's eyes.
