WHEN: A bit after the crossing, when everyone has time to calm down and breathe.

[Kel has seen people scatter around and, despite still acting like a foolish fool around Mari and Sunny... he is doing his best to try to coordinate things as he can. Armed with a set bright of pink pencils, definitely merchandise of the Sweetheart brand from his place, he prepared a whole wall in one of the shelters to work as a rough chalkboard and, written on it, there are his few observations from staying behind.

- Nothing beside the wraiths did show up. What are we running from?
- Ferryman honest or not?
- When you don't pay the tool, you may still lose memories
- Our bodies can get hurt as if we're still alive.
- Discussion About Crossing from both sides?

It's not much but try to get stuff to appear properly on a blank wall when all you have is a bunch of pencils that don't even write that well. He's trying, though, he really is. A message is sent out to everyone after he's done gathering enough pillows for everyone to sit in, inviting people to come and share experiences, and... that's all. He did, at least, prepare water for everyone to drink.... it's somethin, right?

"Why, thank you for coming! Take a seat, mingle and let's get down to businesses!"

OOC: This is a mingle thread. Feel free to interact with each other and have discussions about things. The 'chalkboard' will be updated if anything is brought up to Kel's attention, I'll leave an open post for that.

Did he? That's good. [Nagito does at least sound sincere about that; even if Dankovsky is a doctor from approximately 1900, it's good if there's somebody around who can check on those things. Even if they're in complete denial about being dead!] Did he check on your eye? Ah, unless you didn't want him to! Just, that was new when you showed up, right?

[Sunny froze, his hand drifting up to touch the fabric that covered his eye. No… no he hadn’t asked Dankovsky to check. He was sure the man had noticed - he seemed perceptive - but…

The goal had been making sure Kel was alright. That was more pressing.

Plus, if the doctor had seen what lay beneath the cloth, he would have had questions - ones that Sunny didn’t want to answer or found difficult to voice. It wasn’t like someone just tripped and had That happen to their eye, right?

The thought made him uncomfortable, and he shifted from side to side, shaking his head.]

[Nagito is familiar enough with Sunny's behavior by now to see he's uncomfortable, but honestly, Sunny is uncomfortable a lot.] Is that a no I don't want him to? I certainly wouldn't blame you if so!

[Though that might have more to do with Nagito's specific opinions on Dankovsky than anything.]

[Timidly, he nods in response, then looks around… almost like he’s afraid Dankovsky will hear and appear behind him with a ‘what don’t you want me to look at’?

…That would be Sunny’s luck.]

Alright then. [Nagito leans in a little, examining the fabric. Is he still covering it with Kel's shirt?] Does it hurt at all? I guess being dead means you don't have to worry as much about injuries like this.

[Thank goodness Nagito seemed to understand… even if the invasion of personal space makes Sunny fidget a bit more. Thankfully he’s not too far past the bubble of comfort, but it’s pushing it.

Sunny’s eye is still covered with the scrap of Kel’s bright orange shirt… a makeshift solution, but probably better considering it hadn’t disappeared like the other stuff he had found in the City upon Crossing.

A shake of his head - it didn’t hurt. He… really hadn’t checked to see if it had gotten… better? Could an eye just heal from something like that? He wasn’t sure. He was kind of scared to check. Better to ignore… and if he was wrong, then he couldn’t see out of it anyway.

The depth perception was getting better, but not by much. Surely that was from the mostly flat expanse of the Oasis he had stayed in so far.]

[Nagito hums thoughtfully.] I'm no doctor, or a nurse, or anything like that, but I've gotten pretty familiar with injuries. I could take a look? I could probably at least tell if it's infected or not!

[The thought of any of those bad scenarios being true has his heart beating a bit too fast. Plus… he takes a step back.

Maybe if they weren’t in a room full of other people, in case he started to panic?

Shaking his head fervently. Nope. Definitely too many people here.]

Oh, not in here! [Nagito waves a hand.] After the meeting, or we'd get a crowd. Anyway, you're taking notes, right?

[Sunny definitely relaxed at that. Oh good, not right now. He definitely didn’t need everyone staring at him.

And… despite the fact that he was still nervous… he agreed to it with a nod.

It… was probably better to get it checked, right? Nagito most likely wouldn’t ask too many questions, or be offended if he was silent about certain parts.]

A-after…

Alright. [Nagito seems satisfied with this. If anything is really amiss, he's confident he can bully Sunny into getting someone with more knowledge to look at it anyway.] Keep up the good work, Sunny-kun! [He appreciates the note-taking.]

[With the matter at hand seemingly settled, Sunny felt he could breathe again. Even as the praise made him feel somewhat warm and fuzzy, as he bashfully nodded and sent the other off with a slight wave, even as he made to resume his note taking duties…

He couldn’t help but feel like this was going to end poorly.]
