Post Crossing Meeting

WHEN: A bit after the crossing, when everyone has time to calm down and breathe.

[Kel has seen people scatter around and, despite still acting like a foolish fool around Mari and Sunny... he is doing his best to try to coordinate things as he can. Armed with a set bright of pink pencils, definitely merchandise of the Sweetheart brand from his place, he prepared a whole wall in one of the shelters to work as a rough chalkboard and, written on it, there are his few observations from staying behind.

- Nothing beside the wraiths did show up. What are we running from?
- Ferryman honest or not?
- When you don't pay the tool, you may still lose memories
- Our bodies can get hurt as if we're still alive.
- Discussion About Crossing from both sides?

It's not much but try to get stuff to appear properly on a blank wall when all you have is a bunch of pencils that don't even write that well. He's trying, though, he really is. A message is sent out to everyone after he's done gathering enough pillows for everyone to sit in, inviting people to come and share experiences, and... that's all. He did, at least, prepare water for everyone to drink.... it's somethin, right?

"Why, thank you for coming! Take a seat, mingle and let's get down to businesses!"

OOC: This is a mingle thread. Feel free to interact with each other and have discussions about things. The 'chalkboard' will be updated if anything is brought up to Kel's attention, I'll leave an open post for that.

- Are the notebooks legible? Any useful information inside?

-You're free to examine them, but according to Ferryman-san none of us can read them because they're from a previous group.

[Yet another thing the Ferryman was vague about then. It was starting to get irritating. He looked up from the notes on the wall to address Nagito directly.]

Do you have them with you and did the Ferryman say anything else about the previous group?

[Nagito pulls some of the papers out of one of the inside pockets of his hoodie, offering them to Soo Won.] Ferryman-san used to live--metaphorically speaking--with this group more closely than they do with us. They weren't always tied to the River. I think that's why their symbol is a lantern!

[Soo Won thanked Nagito as he took a look at the papers he offered him. Like he suspected there was nothing familiar about writing. Without a starting point it would be near impossible to decipher it, perhaps if they could learn some words from the Ferryman? Although he doubted they would be forthcoming with that information when they were reluctant to share what was written in the first place.] That makes sense. [Soo Won answered absentmindedly as he studied the papers while he listened.] I wonder what changed that made the Ferryman grow more distant?

I'm not sure, but Ferryman-san said that we couldn't find the rooms of the other two groups [Nagito gestures to the eye and flower iconographies up on the wall] was because they had moved on. That suggests this group didn't.

[Which seems to be the opposite of what the Ferryman would want to happen, and therefore is a potential avenue of exploration as to why their approach changed.]

If this group didn't move on it's possible they couldn't cross like we did. Could they be the wraiths we encountered in the caverns?

[If the Ferryman had been close to the previous group it could explain the weight in the Ferryman's expression when he asked what happened to the wraiths. It would also be easier to bear their loss if they distanced themselves from their charges so it could explain why they changed.]

That's certainly possible. Or maybe we'll run into them hiding out somewhere! Or maybe it's something much worse than those options.

[There are so many possibilities, and Nagito seems equally, cheerfully interested in all of them.]

[That's certainly true, although Soo Won hoped the truth wasn't something much worse. Why do you sound excited about that Nagito? Still, he shared his curiosity and his cheerfulness helped distract him from the possibility about the wraiths. He agreed with a small chuckle.]

That's true, there's still so much we don't know about this place after all!
