text | Header: URGENT QUESTION

I have an important question for the sake of organizing information about the group.

Feel free to message me directly if you don't feel comfortable sharing publicly.

In the world you are from, what year is it?

Edit: record of death for me should be 2186. Or 2187, though it would be very early in the year.

Not at all. I just feel rather far behind everybody else! We still relied on horses for transport back home, meanwhile you probably had spaceships!

[She's been able to visualise those ever since she and Sunny found and read a Captain Spaceboy comic!]

My world still relied on horses as well!

[Don't worry, Frieda isn't the only ancient relic.]

[Soo Won is coming in clutch! Between him, Celehar, and perhaps Need (whose world, in fairness, has magic), Frieda does feel less alone.]

I'm glad to not be the only one! It's miraculous that we're able to glance at the future through the others, isn't it?

[Of course, their worlds likely all diverge from each other in their development, but there is a common chronology of people, no matter their home or nature, inventing increasingly more sophisticated modes of transport, production, communication, and so on.]

I feel the same.

[While it was fascinating to hear about the more advanced worlds everyone came from, it was still nice to have a small sense of familiarity to hold onto.

It is! It's incredible to see how far the world, or worlds, which is a fascinating concept in of itself, have progressed!

[He only wished he could see Kouka grow into one of the wonderous futures he learned about here. Ah, but that would be bittersweet since everyone he knew would be long dead. On second thought, maybe not.]

[Unconsciously following a similar train of thought, she turns a bit wistful. Usually, she mightn't share such speculations where all can see, but it is mere speculation, at this point - nothing anybody needs to be alarmed about.]

Perhaps, at the end of this journey, our souls may be reborn to see the many different futures, one after the other, as the cycle continues. Who knows if they may not fly to different worlds, too?

[Of course, in that case, they won't remember anything - just like in the lives they just left behind, they didn't remember any of the ones that may have come before.]

[He wasn't surprised Frieda followed his train of thought and he read her message with a faint smile.]

Perhaps. It's a beautiful thought.

[Albeit a bittersweet one if they don't remember anything, but Soo Won would like to think that a part of themselves will still remain at the end of their journey even without their memories. It was strange. He had been satisfied with the idea of disappearing once his role had been fulfilled when he was alive, so why did he feel differently now?]

[She doesn't respond back - his words sum up her feelings, including the unspoken bittersweetness. It seems that both of them are more attached to their lives, hard as they may have been in many ways, than they ever realised.]
