Edit: record of death for me should be 2186. Or 2187, though it would be very early in the year.

The planet is called Velgarth, or it was at one time. That information has hung on but people aren't in the habit of thinking of 'a world' and haven't been for ages.

And there isn't a unified system of dates. Different countries or coalitions of countries have their own founding date, or date since a particular ruler, and so it's not consistent. The longest-lasting one spanned 1600 years or so before something we used to call the Cataclysm and it's been roughly 2300 years since that point. But I think the number of people who could put that together is low.

That is a difficult question to answer. Years are measured by the reign of our rulers, which won't be helpful to anyone here I'm afraid.

I suspect my answer will be similar to Mer Soo Won's. By the Ethuverazhin reckoning it is the second year of the reign of the Emperor Edrehasivar VII, the 209th Emperor of the Elflands. I might recite part of it back, but in truth my genealogy of the Royal family is not complete, as I might not properly account for all the years of each reign.
