As much as I am loathe to admit it, we will have to move on from what small bits of safety and comfort this place has brought us. I do believe we should discuss our plans for the coming crossing openly. Consider this a place to drop your thoughts on the idea. Might as well start planning earlier rather than later.

Unless you have a good reason to I strongly suggest that you do not take the crossing alone. There is safety in numbers.

I would like to also get a head count of who all is with us if possible. I have heard about some of us going missing and I find this rather disturbing so I find it pertinent to double check.

SO IT'S ONLY NATURAL HEALING...

[He wouldn't entirely say no to a cool scar, if healing magic was an option for making sure the scar was mostly superficial. But it sounds like that comment wouldn't make leg or person feel left out, and maybe just annoyed, so instead:]

I'm afraid it happens so quickly that it would be difficult to supplement the healing process with food. Months of healing happens in minutes. It's a bit bizarre to watch, truthfully.

[ Dankovsky briefly wonders what it will be like for Papyrus to heal considering he's all bone. Literally. Dankovsky would kind of like to watch that, a medical curiosity, if you will. ]

BUT MAYBE MONTHS OF DIGESTION HAPPEN TOO. WE SHOULD TEST IT!

AND BY WE, I MEAN WHOEVER TAKES THE RISKY TRAVEL OPTION.

[He's not committing to a plan just yet. Part of the reason for testing himself with days(??) of cardiovascular activity is to build up to testing magic-less reflexes.]

Months of digestion? I'm not sure how, or why, that's relevant.

TO MAKE THE HEALING MORE EFFECTIVE, OF COURSE!

[Surely a doctor knows that food is important to healing injuries... His phrasing about digestion (something of particular mystery to skeletons, it has to be said) must have confused the matter.]

There really isn't enough time to gather food before the healing process happens. You'd have to have a dinner table full of food beforehand.
