As much as I am loathe to admit it, we will have to move on from what small bits of safety and comfort this place has brought us. I do believe we should discuss our plans for the coming crossing openly. Consider this a place to drop your thoughts on the idea. Might as well start planning earlier rather than later.
Unless you have a good reason to I strongly suggest that you do not take the crossing alone. There is safety in numbers.
I would like to also get a head count of who all is with us if possible. I have heard about some of us going missing and I find this rather disturbing so I find it pertinent to double check.
The floor is open.

[Not repeating the Yashiro situation would be good.]
not them agreeing
Though you could have just asked me to do so.

In that case, last time without the Ferryman, there were:
- angry storms
- flash flooding
- cranky animals
- rockslides
In that order, I think! But I don’t think anyone really got hurt, so it wasn’t as bad as people were making it out to be. Of course, the wraiths were there too, but the most I saw was them watching us~
[Hanako doesn’t quite remember his own tumble and bump on the head, so it’s perfectly fine, see!]

Do you think other people might show up late?
[It was odd - Sunny felt like he hadn’t seen anyone new for a long time. Except for the mist ghosts, and those were people he knew.]

I'm going to check Sunny and Mari. That's three of us anyway. As for the missing people, do we perhaps know anything they had in common? Yashiro was very nice and warm, Makoto seemed to be the same even if I barely saw him around...
[OH, how his view will change istantly as soon as he relizes Mari went missing too.]

[ Which he hates admitting, admitting his own failures, but he's doing it. ]
I don't know if personality traits count as things in common. Usually we're looking at things like gender, age, connections to each other, but all of those leads are meaningless as Yashiro and Makoto have nothing in common except for that we all knew each other. Which. That is expected in a place like this.

[Hanako isn’t one to dissuade Kel from his course; he’s pretty sure the older boy wouldn’t really listen. Seeing Yashiro’s name has him quiet as he contemplates how to answer.]
It does seem like they had some similar personality traits, didn’t it? Yashiro… she’s naive, clumsy, and hopeful, but… those can be strengths too. Especially in comparison.

[Partly because he tried to sell a memory to the Ferryman in order to find Yashiro. Also dependent on if Yashiro would show up and make her own choices before the Crossing.
Either way, he’s must more straightforward than normal.]

I MISPLACED MY PHONE WHEN I MISPLACED MY ME, BUT I WASN'T COMPLETELY MISSING.
AS FOR THE CROSSING...
I HAVEN'T DECIDED YET!
TRAVELING THROUGH HAZARDS WITHOUT ANY MAGIC AT ALL SEEMS A BIT ALARMING,
BUT NONE OF YOU SEEM LASTINGLY INJURED.

I do hate to inform you of this, but the injury to my leg happened after I was brought to this place, not before. I can understand how you didn't know but I also can assure you that there is indeed great danger in staying behind.

[Just because he has to put that out there. The Spicy One was nice, so Sunny didn’t want to see him hurt, even if bones seemed more sturdy than Sunny’s own weakened physique.]
This time… we’re in the communal hut. I haven’t seen them come back. [Sunny watches a lot so he’s pretty aware of the comings and goings of the Marsh’s residents. Those that had been missing in the desert seemed to catch up though…?]

[He didn’t need sleep before, he doesn’t need it still, so a lot
allof his waking moments were dedicated to watching if Yashiro would pop back up suddenly, as she seemed wont to do.]A lot of the stuff during last Crossing was really physical! Just an fyi, I like you as my second in command, but we don’t really offer hazard pay~

You should go with others.
Injuries heal when you reach your destination
But it takes memories from you AND
you don't get to choose
Also I've been with the ferryman once and once without
When I got hurt it was pretty gross how my wounds
just kind of stitched back together.

If anyone else is planning on taking the dangerous path I agree that there's safety in numbers, and being prepared. I suspect the mist will be a significant obstacle this time. All the more reason to stick together. However we might be able to use the mist to our advantage as well to hide from any potential dangers. For those who have crossed on their own before, what kind of senses did the wraiths and animals seem to have? Do they rely on sight? Hearing? Or did they seem naturally drawn to you?
There is also the potential threat of the ghosts in the mist that I've heard about. In which case it will be imperative to know who all is planning to cross on their own so we don't end up following a phantom by mistake.
If we can learn how to control them the mobile huts could provide shelter throughout the journey. However there is the risk that that the same thing that makes the wraiths, and I assume the animals from last time, turn hostile would turn them against us, so it might not be worth it.
I also recommend sharing any precious memories you don't want to lose with someone else.

[ He has. A lot more questions than that. And answers too. But Dankovsky wants to start first, with this, the most important question. Because he too knows what it's like to feel like the investigation is more important than your own well being. ]

Be careful. [There wasn’t anything he could say to dissuade the merchant from his course, right? Sunny wasn’t strong-willed like that.] It would be nice if the huts helped. Maybe we can make friends before.

The ghosts in the mist are the main reason I want to stay
Someone very dear to me is showing up all the time and
my heart cannot just dismiss it.
I think Mari and Sunny have me covered for important memories...
Most of them, anyway. There are a few people they don't know much about but
Maybe I can tell them about... those? And they can
tell me about their stuff, I think.
I'm not worried.
